Build & Execution
The Avisna CLI provides the local build and run workflow. This page documents that compiler boundary independently from any editor frontend.
Build
The build path reads the project entry source, runs lexical, parsing, and semantic stages, performs code generation, writes LLVM output, links the native artifact, and reports the resulting executable.
avisna build <path>VERIFIED: native executable generation is established for the tested compiler scenarios.
Run
The run command follows the compiler's build path and then executes the resulting native artifact on the local machine.
avisna run <path>VERIFIED: native build-and-run behavior is established in the reviewed execution scenarios.
Host requirements
- A working Avisna CLI installation.
- The runtime library required by the native linker.
- A supported host linker/toolchain such as the configured Clang installation.
Scope
Build and execution are local toolchain operations. The website does not claim to compile or execute native programs inside the browser.
